It is a very simple recipe that you can perform completely autonomously. The first thing to do is to get some brown sugar; you will need 12 tablespoons to pour into a pot. Put the pot with the sugar on a stove over low heat and stir constantly until the sugar has the consistency of caramel. At this point, pour in 100 ml of water, continue stirring and bring to a boil.

While the mixture is cooking on the stove, you can take your bay leaves: ten will suffice. Proceed by chopping the leaves well.
